There will be an initial setup fee of $55
The net rental fees (excluding credit card, cleaning and shipping fees) will be split 50/50 with the consignee and Saltare Gowns.
If the consignee is interested in selling the dress to Saltare Gowns, the purchase will be considered after it has been rented at least 5 times.
If the consignee wants to put the dress on the Saltare Gowns website for purchase only, there will be an initial setup fee of $55. Once the dress has sold, the net sale (excluding the credit card and shipping fees) will be split 30/70, with 70% going to the consignee.
The consignee can use their own dress anytime there is no rental in place, but they will be responsible for the shipping fee and a cleaning fee of $50.
Pictures of the dress will need to be emailed to Saltare Gowns before the dress can be accepted for consignment.
We are looking for designer dresses in all sizes and all dance styles.
Your personal information will never be given out to anyone renting or purchasing your gowns.
If there is any damage to a consigned gown while the client has it for try-on or rental, our damage policy will go into effect and the client will be charged the purchase price of the gown listed on the website (if the dress was consigned for rental or purchase) or that is established between the consignee and Saltare Gowns (if the dress was only consigned for rental) and the consignee will receive 70% of that price, minus the shipping charges.
If a consigned gown is not returned from try-on or rental, the client will be charged the purchase price of the gown listed on the website (if the dress was consigned for rental or purchase) or that is established between the consignee and Saltare Gowns (if the dress was only consigned for rental) and the consignee will receive 70% of that price, minus the shipping charges.
If a gown is consigned for rental or purchase and someone wants to purchase the gown when there is a contract for rental in place one of two options will occur.
1) If the rental start date is within 1 month, the rental contract will be honored as no one would want to try and find another gown at that late of a date.
2) If the rental start date is greater than 1 month, the purchase will take priority. The client who is wanting to rent will be notified immediately and given the option of either choosing a different dress or receiving a full refund of their rental fee.
A consignee can remove their dress from consignment at any time. However, if there is a rental contract in place, that must be honored and the dress will be returned to the consignee after the date of the contracted event.
